As part of our dedication to the perfect yachting journey, we would like to introduce you to the people who make us #1 for our award-winning service on the seas. This week we are pleased to introduce you to Anna, our Club Director on board SeaDream I. Anna started with SeaDream in 2016 as Activity Manager, where she created our Excursions & Entertainment experience for our guests. Embracing her role, she endearingly became known to our guests as someone that "you can hear before you see!” In her current role of Club Director, Anna works with the guests to help them discover their next perfect voyage. In her free time, Anna is surprisingly quiet and loves nothing more than going for long walks and reading a good book.
Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Caribbean—and why?
A: It’s so hard to pick a favorite! You have the liveliness and fun of the British Virgin Islands but then you have the more lush and natural beauty of the southern Grenadines. I would have to say though, I have a soft spot for Anguilla. It has the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world, and everyone is so friendly. It’s definitely somewhere I would go on my own personal vacation.
Q: Where is your favorite place to travel in the Mediterranean—and why?
A: This one is a little easier. Bonifacio in Corsica is without doubt my favorite place, and for many reasons. The contrast between the modern, lively harbor area and the incredible fortifications up in the Old Town is stunning. Plus, the shops, the scenery, and the hikes--there is truly something for everyone. I also love the unique way that SeaDream docks in Bonifacio. We have to reverse all the way in, past breathtakingly beautiful scenery, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Q: Where does “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising®” mean to you?
A: The tiny details, anticipating our guests’ needs, the service, and, most importantly, the friendships that form among guests and crew. We can do that because of our size and the fact that we keep seeing our guests sail with us again and again.
Q: What is it that you love most about SeaDream?
A: The personal experience and relationships that I am fortunate enough to build with guests. Every voyage is like a family reunion and that is something so special. It’s almost indescribable.
